(Cane?) Cholla Bloom
This 2" Cholla ("choya") bloom seems rather unseasonable (usually bloom in spring) - perhaps due to heavy rains in October?
Desert Hackberry
Apparently these dime-sized berries are enjoyed by both birds and humans and are typically seasonal in Fall
We were walking in the desert with longtime friends, Dennis & Sheryle, who are wintering in Mesa.
