Cactus Bloom

 


First bloom on a large clump of Prickly Pear in our Park

When all the paddles in the clump produce these 2-3" flowers, it's dramatic!
As mentioned earlier in the blog, cactus blooming seems delayed this year 
(due to the cool weather?).
