Good Morning, Shelby MT!
Hello Rocky Mountains west of Hwy 2 in the Lethbridge area
Deteriorating visibility as we arrive in Calgary just after 1pm
Another (mostly) good day on the road....we did have an episode of slippery roads and ice fog for a few miles on either side of the border but other than that it was smooth sailing.
We set about unpacking from our winter as soon as we arrived in Calgary; snow was already in the air and, by dark, the world had been turned to white! We will still have to return our trailer to storage sometime tomorrow. The weather forecast suggests scattered flurries with light accumulation and temps around -9C /16F until the end of tomorrow.
Our spectacular neighbours and friends, Dave & Barb, welcomed us home with help unloading, comfort food and warm conversation. It's good to be back across the hall from them!
